Zaranda Community’s 30-Year Wait for Road Construction Ends, Hails Sen Buba

Residents of Zaranda community in Bauchi State have commended Senator Shehu Buba, representing Bauchi South Senatorial District, for constructing a long-abandoned road that has affected the community’s economy for over 30 years.

The road, which links the entire community, was flagged off by Senator Buba, who assured the community that the project would be completed within four weeks

The N850 million project is part of the senator’s constituency projects, aimed at improving the lives of his constituents.

Residents of Zaranda community on Saturday in an interview with our Correspondent expressed their gratitude to Senator Buba for fulfilling his campaign promise to construct the road.

The road’s construction is expected to boost the community’s economy and improve the overall quality of life for residents.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Senator Buba emphasized the importance of infrastructure development in improving the lives of his constituents.

He pledged to continue working tirelessly to attract more development projects to Bauchi South Senatorial District

The Zaranda community road project is a significant milestone in Senator Umar’s efforts to deliver on his campaign promises.

The project’s completion is expected to have a positive impact on the community’s economy and residents’ quality of life.,

A trader in the community,Musa Ahmed said “For over 30 years, we’ve struggled with this bad road. It’s affected our businesses, and we’ve lost count of how many goods we’ve damaged while transporting them.

We’re grateful to Sen. Buba for constructing this road. It’s a game-changer for our businesses.”

Hajiya Aisha Mohammed, Food Seller, explained that the bad road made it difficult for us to transport our goods to the market. We had to pay extra for transportation, which reduced our profit.

‘With this new road, we’ll save money on transportation and be able to sell our goods at a competitive price.” She said,

Another resident, Mallam Adamu Abdullahi, Farmer said the bad road made it challenging for us to transport our farm produce to the market.

“We’re excited about the construction of this road. It’ll make it easier for us to transport our goods, and we’ll be able to sell them at a better price.” Abdullahi said

Meanwhile a community leader,Alhaji Yahaya Usman also appreciates the road construction.

“We’re grateful to Sen. Buba for constructing this road. It’s a significant investment in our community, and it’ll have a positive impact on our economy.

“We commend the senator for his efforts to improve the lives of his constituents.” he said
