A political pressure group, Bogoro/Tafawa Balewa Youths Vanguard, has lambasted former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, describing him as a relevance seeker in the country’s political scene.

Our correspondent reports that this criticism comes on the heels of Dogara’s recent controversial decision, which has reportedly led to a loss of dignity and respect.

Comrade Habila Daniel JP Dodo, Chairman of the Organization, in a statement on Thursday in Bauchi, says Dogara is desperately seeking relevance and recognition from the federal government, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Daniel alleged that Dogara is attempting to reach President Tinubu through Nyesom Wike, Governor of Rivers State.

The chairman also accused Dogara of insulting the President of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) and criticized his leadership style, citing his involvement in the 2007 Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro civil unrest.

Daniel questioned Dogara’s loyalty, highlighting his betrayal of Professor Suleiman Bogoro, who played a significant role in Dogara’s political ascent.

Dogara’s controversial decision has sparked widespread criticism, with many questioning his motives and integrity.

As the controversy continues to unfold, one thing is clear: Dogara’s actions have sparked a heated debate about his role in Nigeria’s political landscape.
