The “Ordinary President” of Brekete Family, Ahmad Isah, has called on Northern leaders to come together and take decisive action to combat the growing insecurity in Northern Nigeria. Speaking during his widely-followed radio and television program, Isah emphasized the need for a collective approach among Northern leaders to address the rising threats of banditry, kidnappings, and terrorism that have plagued the region.

Ahmad Isah stressed that the insecurity in the North has reached a critical point, affecting the lives, safety, and economic stability of millions of people. He highlighted the importance of unity among political, traditional, and religious leaders in the North, urging them to set aside their differences and work collaboratively for the region’s peace and development. “It is time for Northern leaders to unite in fighting the menace of insecurity. Our people are suffering, and it is our responsibility to ensure their safety and well-being,” he stated.

Isah also pointed out that the lack of a unified front among Northern leaders has emboldened criminal elements and allowed insecurity to fester. He called for a coordinated strategy that includes intelligence sharing, community engagement, and the deployment of more security personnel to troubled areas.

The Ordinary President’s call comes amid a heightened sense of urgency as communities across Northern Nigeria continue to grapple with violence and lawlessness. He urged the leaders to prioritize the welfare of their people and collaborate with security agencies to restore peace and stability. His passionate appeal resonates with the sentiments of many who believe that a united leadership is essential to effectively tackle insecurity in the region.

Isah’s message is a rallying cry for Northern leaders to take concrete steps toward a safer and more secure North, emphasizing that the future of the region depends on their commitment to this collective fight against insecurity.
