A veteran Media Consultant Dr Abdulrahman Sade, the Sadaukin Bauchi has cautioned numerous rights and advocacy groups to desist from mounting pressure on President Bola Tinubu to appoint Bala Wunti as the next Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).

This is contained in a statement signed by Dr. Sade, made available to newsmen on Friday in Bauchi

He said President Tinubu is well-informed about the Nigerian oil sector and will make decisions at the right time.

He emphasized the importance of allowing sector leaders to focus on their work without distractions.

Dr. Sade praised Bala Wunti’s performance as the Group General Manager of the National Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS), stating that he has been carrying out his duties seamlessly.

He also commended Wunti’s selfless service to the nation, noting that he is a serious-minded and dedicated son of Bauchi State.

The Sadaukin Bauchi also debunked claims of a rift between Wunti and the current GMD of NNPCL, Mele Kyari, stating that they have been working cordially for years.

He credited the team led by Kyari and Wunti for transforming the NNPCL and achieving unprecedented growth and development despite challenges.
