The member representing Alkaleri-Kirfi federal constituency in Bauchi state, Alhaji Kabiru Yusuf has distributed food items worth N350 million as Ramadan packages to his constituents.

Speaking during the distribution exercise in Bauchi, Alhaji Kabiru Yusuf said, the gesture will help reduce the hardship faced by people especially in this month of Ramadan.

The food items were distributed to various beneficiaries, including APC party executives, members of AKY Makama structure,

stakeholders, opposition parties, women and youth groups, and selected individuals from the two local governments.

In addition to the food gesture, Alhaji Kabiru Yusuf had earlier given N2 million to party executives and stakeholders as Ramadan gifts.

He also announced plans for a massive empowerment program after the Sallah holidays, where beneficiaries will receive cash, vehicles, motorcycles, tricycles, and other economic tools.

The chairman of APC stakeholders in Alkaleri LGA, Alhaji Adamu Umar Gokaru, praised Alhaji Kabiru Yusuf’s achievements, which include distributing fertilizer,

Constructing healthcare facilities, classrooms, and an international cattle market, securing federal jobs, drilling boreholes, and installing solar lights.

Other speakers at the event encouraged the lawmaker to continue his economic empowerment programs and developmental projects in the constituency.

The distributed food items included 2,500 bags of rice, 2,000 cartons of spaghetti, 500 cartons of groundnut oil, 1,000 bags of sugar, and 500 cartons of noodles.
