The national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has stated that there will be no openings in Aso Rock in 2027.
Speaking to supporters at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, Ganduje suggested that the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and its leaders were apprehensive after suffering defeats nationwide in the last general election and foreseeing another loss. He accused NNPP leaders in Kano State of backing protests and campaigning for his removal as APC’s national chairman.
Ganduje emphasized that the APC is gaining momentum with new members joining, instilling fear in NNPP. He projected continuity with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 and criticized NNPP’s attempts to discredit APC’s programs and projects.
He also accused NNPP of funding protests against APC’s leadership nationwide, labeling their efforts as failures.
