The Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar Foundation has embarked on a large-scale distribution of food items and farm inputs to alleviate the suffering of citizens across
20 local government areas of Bauchi State.
The foundation’s Director General, Alhaji Bello Tukura, flagged off the distribution on Wednesday, emphasizing the purpose of the initiative.
“The Yusuf Tuggar Foundation is committed to providing succor to those in need.
“We aim to alleviate the suffering of our citizens across the 20 local government areas of Bauchi State,”Tukura said.
“The foundation distributed essential items, including,Rice, Spaghetti, Sugar
Cooking oil and Fertilizer for farmers
“The initiative would provide relief to vulnerable families and support farmers in increasing food production
“As well as enhance food security and foster economic growth and development in the State,” he said.
According to him, Amb. Yusuf Tuggar, Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, has a history of philanthropic efforts, particularly in his home state of Bauchi.
“His foundation’s impact is felt across Bauchi State, demonstrating his commitment to giving back to his community.
Hajiya Aisha Mohammed, a local resident, said Ambassador Tuggar’s foundation has been a beacon of hope for many.
“His efforts are making a significant difference in the lives of our people.” She said,
A beneficiary, Alhaji Hassan Musa, expressed gratitude to the foundation.
“We are thankful for the food item.
“It’s a big relief, especially during these trying times. We appreciate the Director General for remembering us.
“The foundation’s initiative is a welcome relief to many families and farmers in Bauchi State, and its efforts are expected to continue making a positive impact in the region.
