The Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, (BSMPWB) Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris, has expressed his readiness to collaborate with stakeholders to improve Hajj administration in the state.
He made this statement on Friday, August 30, 2024, when he received the Bauchi State Council for Islamiyya Teachers on a courtesy call in his office.
Imam Abdurrahman emphasized that the government alone cannot effectively manage the affairs of pilgrims, stressing the need for collaboration with Hajj stakeholders, particularly religious organizations.
He commended the Islamiyya teachers for their dedication to disseminating religious ethics and education, and appealed for their support in pilgrim education.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Bauchi Council for Islamiyya Teachers, Alh. Abdulhadi Ismail Kobi, stated that the visit aimed to strengthen the existing relationship with the Board and expressed the Council’s readiness to support the Board in achieving its goals.
This collaboration is expected to enhance the administration of Hajj in Bauchi State, ensuring a smoother and more meaningful experience for pilgrims.
