Borno Youth Commends Defence Minister’s Security Efforts

The Borno Youth for Sustainable Development (BYSD) has praised Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, Alhaji Mohammadu Badaru Abubakar, for enhancing security nationwide, particularly in the North East.

This is contained in a communique issued at the end of an emergency meeting on Sunday in Bauchi, signed by the Chairman,BYSD, Mr Salisu Usman Alhaji made available to Journalists in Bauchi

The communique said the Minister improve improved security in the North East

“Borno and Yobe states have witnessed significant peace after tackling ISWAP and Boko Haram, paving the way for rapid socio-economic transformation.

“Kidnapping, terrorism, and violent crimes in Taraba and Adamawa states have declined substantially.

“Badaru Abubakar has strengthened synergy among security stakeholders, addressing insecurity, it said.

The BYSD attributed these advancements to the Minister’s effective leadership and urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to disregard calls for his removal

The group acknowledged Badaru Abubakar’s dedication to troop welfare and morale, citing his support for Operation Lafiya Dole and Operation HADARIN DAJI.

The Minister’s efforts have yielded notable progress since assuming office on August 22, 2023

The BYSD pledged to support Badaru Abubakar in delivering his security and peaceful coexistence programs.
