The National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) has granted full accreditation to all 24 programmes run by Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare (ASCOEA) in Bauchi State.
This is contained in a statement signed by Sulaiman Shehu of the Directorate of information, in the College made available to newsmen on Friday.
It said, this development was announced by the institution’s Provost, Professor Asabe Sadiya Mohammed, during a recent morning briefing.
According to Professor Mohammed, the accreditation is a testament to the hard work, commitment, and dedication of the college community.
She emphasized the importance of maintaining a high level of integrity and ensuring good service delivery.
The accreditation exercise was conducted between July 15th and 19th, 2024, and the results were approved by the NCCE at its 308th Regular Meeting on September 13th, 2024
This achievement is expected to pave the way for the college to introduce innovative teacher education programmes, thereby contributing to the country’s economic growth and sustainable development.
With this accreditation, Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare has reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality teacher education, a crucial factor in shaping Nigeria’s future.
