The African Health Budget Network (AHBN) has reaffirmed its commitment to support immunization initiatives and development of immunization scorecard
in Bauchi State,
AHBN’s Coordinator/CEO Dr. Aminu Magashi Garba, outlined key areas of collaboration.at the Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Board’s 4-day 2025 Annual Operational Plan Development Workshop in Gombe
Represented by the Bauchi state focal person of AHBN Dr Hassan Shuaibu Musa pledged to the State support for Immunization SCORECARD.
“AHBN will support the State Agency for Developing Immunization SCORECARD.
“Local NGOs participating in the Zero Dose Learning Hub Community of Practice will receive support for supportive supervision.
“Annual publication of immunization finances will be sponsored,” Dr Magashi sId
He added that AHBN will ensure immunization budget tracking, release, accountability, and sustainability.
He reiterated that these commitments aim to enhance immunization coverage in Bauchi State, particularly in Zero Dose LGAs and missed communities.
The workshop, held in Gombe, was attended by high-ranking health officials, including the Chairman of the House of Assembly Committee on Health, the Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly, and the Commissioner for Health.
