The North-East Zonal Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) Alhaji Ali Audu has Pledged to intensify efforts in building the capacites of staff in the region in order to efficiently and diligently deliver their duties.
The Zonal director who gave the assurance Wednesday during a working visit to Bauchi state said it’s office will coordinate the activities of the agency on behalf of the Director-General Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu in the six states of the zone.
He submitted that the staff across the zone must be equipped with the necessary capacity to ensure quality discharge of their duties as the Directorate is poised at giving such training.
Earlier in his addres, the Bauchi State Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA)Alhaji Nasiru Mahe sad that the North-East zonal office plays a critical role in gingering them at the state level to due the work with due diligence.
The Zonal director equally visited and solicited the collaboration of the District head of Bauchi whom he considered playing strategic roles as traditonal leaders in community mobilization as they are loser to the grassroot.
The Zonal Director noted that NOA’s mandate is to ensure that they educate people on government policies and as well relay peoples demands to the government.
Responding,the Distric Head of Bauchi Alhaji Nuru Adamu Jumba who expreesd delight for the visit said they are ever ready to give adequate support equally said they should adequately educate trational leaders on particular issue for them enlight their subject on government policies and programmes.
Represented by Dankade Alhaji Zailani Muhamnad the district head further urged the agency to translate all their activities in Hausa for wider reach and understanding for easy transmission adding majority of people in the state speak Hausa.
