The Commandant Oloyede Nelson Oyerinde of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Bauchi State Command has been honored with a Certificate of Integrity Steward Award by the Advocacy for Peace and Values Re-orientation.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Command Spokesperson ASCII Saminu Yusuf made available to newsmen weekend.
It said the award recognizes his commitment to service, esteemed personality, and contributions to national security.¹
“The Advocacy for Peace and Values Re-orientation, a non-governmental organization, aims to promote ethical leadership and a corruption-free society.
“According to the Executive Director, Comr. Abubakar A. Oyibo, the organization seeks to reward service-oriented leaders who demonstrate selfless service and responsible personalities,” it said.
The Statement said the Commandant Oyerinde expressed his delight at receiving the award and thanked the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, for the opportunity to serve in Bauchi State.
Oyerinde views the award as a challenge to strive for excellence and growth in national security.
He also appreciated the support of the state government, led by Senator Bala A. Muhammed, in fostering peace and synergy among security agencies.
The award ceremony concluded with the presentation of a certificate, medal, and group photographs.
