Honorable Abdulmuminu Kundak, Vice Chairman All Progressive Congress (APC) Bauchi South has responded swiftly to the recent move by some constituents to recall Senator Shehu Buba Umar from the National Assembly.
Kundak stated this in a statement issued to Journalists on Friday, condemning the act, saying it is uncalled for.
He urged the people to shelve their grievances and engage in constructive dialogue with the senator instead of backing unscrupulous politicians spreading unjustified lies
Kundak expressed shock that the people of Bauchi South, who had overwhelmingly voted for Senator Shehu Buba, would now seek his recall.
He emphasised the senator’s commitment to Nigeria’s internal security, President Tinubu’s agenda, and the development of Bauchi South.
According to him, some of the achievements of Sen. Buba include rural roads development, rural electrifications and water supply provision to tens of communities
Sponsorship of constituents’ education through tertiary institutions and provision of palliatives to cushion petroleum subsidy and starvation effects
Kundak attributed the recall move to jealousy-driven politicians sponsoring false allegations against Sen .Buba.
He appealed to the public to disregard the recall calls, labeling those behind it as “jokers and fools” lacking understanding of the recall process.
The Vice Chairman commended the people of Bauchi State for distinguishing between genuine leaders like Senator Buba and selfish politicians.
He praised Senator Buba’s transformative leadership and commitment to fulfilling President Tinubu’s agenda.
