The Native of Bauchi State Multipurpose Association for Development has called on youths in the state to shift their focus from salary-oriented jobs to small-scale businesses and productivity.
This appeal was made by the association’s chairman, Mr. Ahmed Ghani Hassan, during a press conference on Monday in Bauchi ¹.
He said the association aims to promote unity among the people of Bauchi State by eliminating sectionalism based on religious affiliation, political party, and tribal discrimination.
To achieve this, they have developed a structure from the state executive council to ward levels for efficiency and consulted with elder statesmen, including Alhaji Sadiq Arabi, Alhaji Musa Bayero Muhammad, and Alhaji Ghani Hassan ¹.he said
According to him, the objectives of the association is promote unity among the people of Bauchi State
“Shift mindset from salary-oriented jobs to small-scale businesses and productivity
Create awareness on educational, social, political, and economic development
“Work with government officials, lawmakers, and community leaders and support the state’s development initiatives, such as the Nigeria Agribusiness and Agro-Industrial Development Initiative (NAADI) ,” he said.
He explained by pursuing these objectives, the association hopes to contribute to the state’s progress and competitiveness with other states in the federation.
“Bauchi State with its rich agricultural land and potential for growth, stands to benefit greatly from this initiative ¹.he said
