President Bola Tinubu has officially named the Arterial Road N20, stretching from Northern Parkway to Outer Northern Expressway (ONEX), as the Professor Wole Soyinka Highway. This decision, recommended by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) administration, honors Wole Soyinka, a distinguished Nigerian playwright, poet, and novelist, in celebration of his upcoming 90th birthday on July 13. President Tinubu highlighted Soyinka’s achievements, noting that he was the first African to win the Nobel Prize in Literature, and emphasized the honor and recognition Soyinka has brought to Nigeria through his contributions to literature and culture.
